This is a 4 colour lithograph exploring the cleared areas and piles of logs due to the commercial activities necessary in a forest managed for timber. Although initially shocking and sad, the removal of the trees does create new areas for ground nesting birds and other wildlife to flourish in. This is the beggining of an exploration of this theme.
Three of this edition have been donated to 'GROTTO' a sale of prints created by 2nd year MA Arts Programme students at UAL Central Saint Martins to raise funds towards the end of course exhibition in June 2024.
My prints are all made by hand, each layer of each print is individually inked and pressed therefore there are individual variations within each edition. Every print is a unique and original work of art.
